Is there a difference between PC and Mac RAM chips?

I want to upgrade a Mac, can I buy any kind of RAM? Is there a difference between Mac and PC RAM?

I think Mac support only certain of RAM, not all computers RAM do. To ensure that you get RAM Mac, go to newegg.com–> Memory -> on the left, select the box "Mac memory." These products are guaranteed to work on a Mac genius.
