MacBook Pro?

I am planning to get a macbook times this year but I'm thinking that the 2 should I? 15 or a 17. I'ma student whose hobbies are video editing and photography. What is the difference between a MacBook Pro 15 "and 17"? can give me some details as the number of FireWire and USB available to both? or just the voice and the only thing that is different is the speed of processors?
