I want my boyfriend of one of those things webcam so we can see each other and have a conversation when you are away another country to volunteer for a few months. Is there a webcam for a laptop. Like I know what kind of laptop is that in order to obtain a webcamera. There is another thing I need to say much about the computer?

A web camera using a common USB connection, which almost all computers (desktops and notebooks) will take these days. Web camera should work the same on a desktop or laptop, no laptop webcams only, as most of the time using the USB connections. Since most web cameras have built in microphones, do not need anything else to talk to each other. To give a simple answer, 99% of webcams you buy today will be compatible with 99% of computers (desktop and laptop).
